While our son never displayed the symptoms of amblyopia, we feel that our first doctor’s recommendation to use eye patch therapy probably prevented our cross eyed baby from ever developing lazy eye.

In the end, our child underwent eye surgery (actually eye muscle surgery) 4 times over the course of 2 years. His treatment, his recovery, and our family’s journey is now viewed as one of the great untold inspirational stories around. Now a documented story, we hope to share our experience with the rest of the world and we are happy to emotionally support others in similar situations.

Please view our full story at: http://www.ChildhoodStrabismus.com
